OBJECTIVES
The CLOTTING Group is an international group with several members from Latin American countries. Its aim is to promote the highest levels of knowledge, research, education and clinical practice in haemophilia.
Training and education in haemophilia care is an important priority for the Group. This year the Group will focus on educational programmes related to the neeeds of the region. In addition, the Group has developed clinical guidelines to treat haemophilia patients with inhibitors.
The Group was created in 2004, and since then, it has held two meetings per year in different places of Latin America. The first Chairman was Dr. Raul Pérez Bianco from Argentina, and the current Chairman is Dr. Arlette Ruiz de Sáez from Venezuela.
